If you were in Greenfield Library this past month, you probably noticed a terrific work by junior printmaker Chris Terrell. His work, Passages, was inspired by his travels in Guatemala.
Chris’ work was the first to be displayed in our student exhibition space. Students are invited to submit their work for exhibition consideration throughout the year, even summer. So stop in to the Greenfield Library, view the latest work by your classmates, and pick up an application!
The Free Library of Philadelphia (FLP) is the public library system for the city of Philadelphia. The FLP’s Central Library is located at 1901 Vine Street, on the Benjamin Franklin Parkway. From UArts, take the northbound 32 SEPTA bus (catch it on the east side of Broad Street), which stops right in front of the Central Library. If it’s a nice day, it’s about a 20-30 minute walk from UArts. All UArts students, faculty and staff are eligible for a Free Library card!
