SAMFA Food for Thought Lecture Series: Shay Church

Ceramicist Shay Church will discuss his work Wednesday, August 3, at 1 pm in Hamilton Hall’s CBS Auditorium.

Church earned his MFA in Spatial Arts from San Jose State University in California in 2007. He is currently the head of Ceramics at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA. Last year he collaborated with UArts graduate students, alumni, and the Philadelphia arts community to create the installation Gray Whales right here on Broad Street.
